types of screen filters that will take care of the problem once and
for all. If you're not sure which type of screen filter is best for you,
we have some information that might prove useful. Computer screen filters
serve 3 main functions:
- Ergonomic
Provides relief from such symptoms as eyestrain, headaches, neck and backaches
and dry, irritated eyes. Choose standard or magnifying filters. Most economical
filter.
- Privacy
To be used in high traffic areas where information on computer screen needs
to be kept private. Great for use on unfiltered Internet terminals. When
the monitor screen is viewed at an angle either a blurred image or a dark
blank screen is seen. The blurred screen is the most economical.
- Radiation/Static protection
Coating on filter deflects electric field radiation away from the computer
user. This provides a shield to reduce both ELF (extra low frequency) and
VLF (very low frequency) electrical fields from computer monitors. These
same coatings offer protection from static electricity, minimizing dust
build up and reducing the potential of data loss due to static charge.

How to measure for a screen filter for your computer:
Measure the glass screen size on the diagonal. If your screen size is between two sizes, it is best to choose the larger size.
