Ready to assemble.
The pole screws into the base and doesn't lock. So when you or your customers are randomly turning the rack to look for magazines, the pole unscrews and the unit top flies off. This happened to me. Fortunately no one was hurt, but it did scratch up the finish on a wooden table and a bunch of the wire holders were bent out of shape. The units are also very tippy. Yesterday one fell over, but didn't land on the baby in the stroller parked nearby, nor the baby's mother. Would not buy again.
