If you use this as the product information suggests, for a personal non-lending library that doesn’t use a book drop, it’s great. It looks good, holds up well, is easy to use, and is a good value when bought in a roll. I’m ordering another roll.
This book wrap was ordered for the children's department in a public library. It does not suit that purpose. It is stretchy, almost like a plastic zip top bag, and not crinkly like the other book wrap we've used. It punctures easily and our books are coming back in terrible shape from going out on ILL's. I'm very disappointed, as I now have 4 rolls of book wrap that really doesn't protect the books! Beware of the warning that is on the product description: it is not good for use in book drops (the corners of other books cut into the ones wrapped in this) I'm not sure what this wrap would be good for... But definitely not good for heavily used books in a public library.
